Day 1: Chobe game reserve, the group depart Kazangula between 08h30 and 09h00 and proceed to Kasane for the opportunity to purchase any personal beverages, as there are no shops within the park. After a short briefing, the visitors commence on an exhilarating 3 hour boat cruise into the Botswana national park, easily one of the highlights of this trip. From aboard the boat, visitors gets the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippo, crocodiles and of course, scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. On arrival at ‘white sands’ you will be welcomed by your guide for the remainder of your safari and proceed to do a big five animal viewing drive to the wilderness campsite. After a hearty lunch and some time to ‘settle’ into tents the group embark on an afternoon wildlife viewing drive, this being the best time of day to see the parks large herbivores making their way down to the river. The Chobe game reserve safaris group return to their tented camp accommodation shortly after sunset for dinner and evening drinks around the campsite fire. (L, D)

Day 2: Chobe national park, the safari group wake at dawn with a friendly Botswana ‘dumela’ (good day) with warm water in visitors basins, to freshen up. After a quick cup of tea or coffee, we head off on an early morning game drive. This is best time of day for searching for the big cats as they are still active and chances of seeing them are good. At mid morning the group return to the Chobe safaris tented camp for a delicious ‘bush brunch’, followed by a siesta to escape the heat of the day. As it starts to cool off, the safari group head out for a afternoon wildlife drive in search of further big-five animal activity. Chobe national park safaris has a wide variety of animals from cats to large herbivores with elephant and buffalo being a highlight. However there are also the rarer game like puku and roan antelope, along with many more common antelope on offer too. Once again return to camp after sunset for dinner to reflect on the day whilst being accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night. (B , D)

Day 3: Chobe  game reserve safaris, the group wake up with a ‘dumela’ and after a scrumptious cooked breakfast the  group ensure all luggage is securely packed before heading out of the park on safari groups final animal viewing drive. This last drive may even prove to be the best and will with the others remain etched in memory as a truly great African experience. Return to Kazungula by 09h00 where the Chobe national park camp-ing safari tour ends (B).
