There`s thirteen government run hospitals to serve the the island's population of 1 million people. The number of 3505 beds are present at the different hospitals. The three main hospitals as below with contact details:

The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam national hospital is the biggest between the three hospitals in northern region of the island. Health authorities is keeping a eye on the hospital`s on the island and have set up a complaints Bureau in all regional hospitals, to listen to all the patients problems to provide better medical service. Health-cards will be issued to all regular patient`s or coming in with emergency treatment.
