Sorry to answer you so late...

We were enchanted with our stay in Victoria Falls. We appreciated quite particularly ILALA Lodge where we accommodated. In the ILALA Lodge everything is made to make our stay of the most pleasant: the comfort of rooms, gardens where it is so pleasant to take its meals, the quality of the meals, the ideal situation of the lodge in 10 minutes on foot chûtes and the kindness, the availability, the helpfulness, the user-friendliness of all the staff and quite particularly Peter there in the reception.

We   thoroughly  enjoyed  our  trip, and  particularly   liked  Vic Falls Safari Lodge, and   Kwhai River  Lodge, where the  service   was  excellent  and  super  friendly, and  accommodation   first   class.   The  Chobe  Game  Lodge  was definitely  a 3 star  resort, and  as  one  cannot go  off road there,  we  did  not get  close to  many animals.  The  river cruises were good there.
Chobe  Game  Lodge  had  too many  steps  for  me, and  our  room was very  far  away  from the  dining  area.
Everything   else  was  fine.

Hi Annelie

Thank you we had a good time!  Everything went very smoothly (except for the two hour delay crossing the bridge, but that is beyond any-body's control) - just sorry we did not book an extra day as there simply was not enough time to enjoy all the activities.  It was a lovely surprise for my husband - just unfortunate that we had a room facing the bush, but then, we didn't spend much time in it so it didn't really matter.  The Kingdom is ideally placed and an excellent choice.

Should we have the opportunity again we will definitely be in contact!  In the interim, I attach a few photos for you.

Thanks very much for your help in organizing this.

Food was great, in fact was better than expected given the Zimbabwean situation.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to others, the service was excellent, the food great and a very relaxing environment.

One other plus was that this lodge accepted all major credit cards as they had Internet connectivity with a South African bank, so no issues with settling accounts.
