Day 1, Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park
In the morning, your guide will meet you at the airport or at your hotel in Dar es Salaam. The safari starts the moment your luggage has been loaded onto the safari vehicle. After approximately 5 hours of driving through the interesting landscape on a good tar road, you will reach Vuma Hills Tented Camp in Mikumi National Park where a delicious cooked lunch will be waiting for you. After lunch you will set off on an enjoyable game drive through the national park, which will fill the entire afternoon. The wonderfully located and well-managed Vuma Hills Tented Camp will be your home for the next three nights. (Lunch; Dinner)
