Fishing Adventures:  There's no better place then Lake Malawi for freshwater fly-fishing with its awesome linked rivers. Its a sports fishermen paradise, because the fish population is decreasing enormously due to exploitation in volumes.

Mt Mulanje are one of the highest mountain pitches in the Southern African countries, with a height of about 3000m. It is a mountaineering paradise and spectacular hiking trails complemented with a huge range of plant and bird-life with breath-taking scenery's. Huts are available on the trails for overnight accommodation while hiking trips last between two & six days.

Activities: Horse-riding with numerous treks & trails, windsurfing, water-skiing & scuba diving are popular at Lake Malawi, but please take precautions against the potentially fatal disease Bilharzia, currently infiltrating certain parts of the lake. 

Golf Enthusiasts, visitors can enjoy golf courses at certain resorts while the prettiest one at the foot of Zomba Plateau.

Festiviles: Finding yourself in in the country during the "Republic Day"-festivities in the beginning of July, enjoy various traditional dances by local performers like the Gule Wamkulu where wooden masks are wear by dancers with skin paint decorations.

There are a few Great Coastal Towns along the lake Malawi like Nkhota Bay, Senga Bay, Cape Maclear and Monkey Bay being some of the more popular ones. Likoma is known for its Anglican cathedral and Chizimulu offers great snorkeling and diving.
