Mt Kenya (5199m) is the second highest mountain in Africa, and Samburu national reserve is home to wild-life like elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra ect. Lake Nakuru national park highlights are famous for over two million flamingos, and its sightings of black and white rhino. Last but not least, the famous Masai Mara reserve is known for it's fascinating tribal Masai people and its density of animals including the ‘Big Five Africa animals' and 453 species of birds. Day 1

8-day Kenya highlights overland trip package to safari in Masai Mara game reserve,

On the first day of wild game highlights trip (Day 1), all visitors should meet at Nairobi for a pre departure meeting at 08h30. The group head out of the city and travel north way to our wild campsite at the foot of Mount Kenya (5199m), the second highest mountain in Africa. The group have the afternoon free to enjoy an optional walk in the forest around the base of mountain, known for its prolific bird life and black and white Colobus monkeys. (L,D)

Days 2 , 3

The group visit Samburu game reserve, situated on the banks of Uaaso Nyiro river. Plenty of water, trees and shade attract wild-life like elephant, lion, giraffe and zebra from the surrounding savannah plains. Uaaso Nyiro river's magnificent displays are long and huge crocodiles, which exceed six meters (20 feet) from snout to tail. On this wild game highlights trip leopards are also regularly spotted.

The visitors will enjoy a game viewing drive en route to the campsite and on Day 3 visitors will depart on a morning game viewing drive and return to camp for lunch. In the cooler late afternoon the group head out for an afternoon game drive highlights and return in time to prepare dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 4

The next  tour highlights is Thompson’s falls, the group will travel to the 75m waterfalls and arrive at approximately lunch time, with the afternoon to explore the waterfalls, particularly spectacular during the rainy season. (B,L,D)

Day 5

Todays visit will be the Lake Nakuru, the travelers depart for their Kenya campsite, on the Kenana Farm. The visit the Kenana Knitters, a local community development project, or the local school. Visitors visit Lake Nakuru NP which is famous for the presence of up to two million flamingos feeding seasonally on the abundant algae. The park is also well known for its leopard and, as it is a rhino sanctuary, sightings of black and white rhino are common, as well as lion and buffalo. The tour group enjoy more exiting wild game highlights while game driving into the Park. (B,L,D)

Days 6 , 7

Join up with backpackers groups travel-ling the routes of Africa. The famous Masai Mara game reserve is known for its density of wild animals including the 'Big Five' and 453 species of birds. It is one of the most visited reserves in Africa. This national reserve's plains are predominantly open Savannah, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland, and along the Mara river, riparian forest.

Whilst big five game viewing have excellent highlights in the Mara all year round, the most popular time to visit is in late July into August when over one million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebra migrate from the Serengeti. The dramatic river crossings are a gruesome spectacle of survival of the fittest.

The guest will set up a wild camp here for two nights and enjoy early starts game drives, returning to camp for a late breakfast or brunch. Time to reflect and relax for the hotter part of the day and then out for another game viewing drive in the afternoon. Visitors enjoy the last night and dinner around the campfire, listening to the sounds of the open bush. (B,L,D)

Day 8

Masai Mara to Nairobi tour ends, visitors enjoy a hearty breakfast, before break-ing down the campsite and head back to Nairobi arriving at lunchtime, where wild game highlights trip ends.
