All of our journeys with costumised overland trucks are accompanied by a minimum of 2 guides who are registered with FGASA ( field guides association of southern Africa) and DEAT ( department of environment, agriculture and tourism) and have valid first aid certificates. Driver-guides also have their PDP's ( professional drivers permits ). Many of our guides also have more specialised qualifications. Foreign language guides speak German or Spanish and on family expeditions guides have extensive experience of working with children. However, all the knowledge and experience in the world is not enough. The most important qualification of a good guide and drivers of the trucks is their ability to work well with people. It is with this in mind that all potential candidates are carefully evaluated. No one goes further than we do to ensure that expeditions run as they should.

Overland vehicles, we are very passionate about our custom-made trucks in use! They are, without question, the finest on the continent, always been at the cutting edge of truck design and vehicles are constantly being upgraded and renovated to ensure they remain the best. Our trucks are fully maintained and the bodies are lovingly brought to life in customizing workshop. Customizers of the vehicles are a registered body-builders and the designs has been accepted, and complies with the road traffic act and the SABS ( SA bureau of standards ). Tourist safety and comfort are first priority.

After all, most of our excursions cover large distances and much time is spent in the adventure trucks, more reason to ensure they are the best. Introduce freezers on all adventure trucks to keep food fresh. Individual seats, ample leg-room and overhead luggage racks in the trucks help make passengers time on the road as comfortable as possible. All overlanding trucks are fully lockable and there's a safes for visitors money and documents. A well-stocked first aid kit is on hand for emergencies. All adventure trucks has a cd player, as well as informative reading material, games and recreational gear to keep the adrenaline junkies well entertained.

The tour equipment, camping adds an unforgettable dimension to backpackers adventure holidays. The campsites are selected for their atmosphere, facilities and, of course, location. Sleeping under the stars in a canvas two-person dome tent (with built in mosquito net), is the best way to experience the thrill of bush camping. Sitting on camping chairs around a roaring fire is the perfect way to end visitors day's adventures. The on-board camp kitchen on the overland trucks is equipped with the following, gas stove, 150 - 250 L freezer, cooking grill, food storage racks, 200L water tank, cooler boxes and food preparation and washing up facilities.

Insurance, Comprehensive Travel Insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical, emergency and personal accident, is compulsory on all adventures. The client is aware that it is his responsibility to take insurance. The clients will effect personal insurance and be satisfied that their insurance fully covers their personal requirements.

Documents, You will require a valid passport. Please check with us, your local consulate or consultant as to visa, passport and health requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport, visas, and vaccination certificates are all in order before departure. We cannot be held liable for any passenger being refused entry into a country for any reason whatsoever.

Health, Fellow-travellers must be in perfect health to undertake any journey. We visit remote areas with little or no medical facilities. This journeys is recommended for healthy, active participants looking for an adventurous holiday.

Indemnity, All participants on journeys are required to complete and sign an "Indemnity Form" before joining the expedition.
