Day 1: Arrival in Washington D.C
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Washington.
Day 2: Washington D.C
Spend the day at leisure or opt for the "Old Town Trolley Tour" by purchasing a voucher through us. Depending on the ticket you purchased, enjoy a day or two's hop on-hop off sightseeing experience and discover some of the best sights and iconic landmarks of this capitol. This tour takes you round all major attractions such as: The White House, the Lincoln and Washington Memorials, Georgetown and The Smithsonian Institutes. Overnight in Washington D.C.
Day 3: Washington to New York
Departure to New York with AMTRAK from Union Station in Washington DC to Penn Station in New York City. Transfer from Penn Station to your hotel on your own. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in New York.
Day 4 to 6: New York
Enjoy the day at your leisure. To make the most of your visit you may optionally purchase a two day “New York Pass” which allows you free access to 80+ New York attractions. These attractions include the Empire State Building observation deck, the Statue of Liberty ferry and the Circle Line Cruise, which takes you around the perimeter of New York where you will get to see the city from a different perspective.
On Day 5, you may like to book additional tours that are covered by the “New York Pass” such as the Food on Foot Tours, a tour on which you sample food as you walk, New York Skyride, a visual roller coaster ride that sends you soaring through the streets of New York, and Madame Tussauds.
Day 6 is your last day in New York, wander around the city and explore Central Park, Times Square, and the Chrysler Building, do some shopping and get your fill of delicious street food. Overnights in New York.
Day 7: New York to Boston
Departure to Boston with AMTRAK from Penn Station in New York to South Train Station in Boston. Transfer from South Train Station to your hotel on your own. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Boston.
Day 8: Boston
Enjoy another full day in Boston with all its attraction. Many can easily be explored by foot. Notable sights include Boston Common. See the old town of Boston, Beacon, Boston Tea Party, the Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument and visit the famous Harvard University in Cambridge across the Charles Rivers. Spend some time walking on the Freedom Trail with the most important historic monuments of the city that includes Boston Tea Party, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, Old State House and Copley Square with Trinity Church. While in Boston, we recommend a whale watch cruise on a high-speed catamaran (Apr - Oct) or a visit to the New England Aquarium. Overnight in Boston.
Day 9: Departure
Your journey comes to an end. An airport transfer is included, which will take you to the airport for your return flight.
