Day 1 -  Kalahari Desert   
We depart Windhoek and travel into the largest sand mass on Earth, the Kalahari Desert, refered to as the “Soul of the World” by the Bushman! With deep red sand dunes & endless grass plains dotted with acacia’s and shrubs, it is the only form of survival for the specially adapted wildlife that call it home. We have an opportunity to experience the fauna and flora that has survived this desert environment.

Day 2 -  Fish River Canyon   
As we travel south through the rocky plains, we visit the unique quiver tree forest, nestled among huge dolerite boulders, stacked in a mysterious way, known as “Giant’s Playground”. We end out day at our lodge, situated  close to the Fish River Canyon, with the option to explore the area on foot or on a guided afternoon nature drive.

Day 3 to 4  - Aus   
After a fresh start, we travel to the edge of the Fish River Canyon and gaze 550 meters into this magnificent geological phenomenon, second largest of its kind on Earth. We travel to the Succulent Karoo, the most specie diverse desert on Earth. On the 2nd day we travel to Lüderitz and visit the Kolmanskop ghost town. We also visit the wild horses of the Namib Desert, Diaz Point and the coastal town of Lüderitz.

Day 5 - Namib Desert   
Traveling north through the pre-Namib we arrive at our lodge in the Namib Desert, the gateway to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, with some of the highest sand dunes on Earth towering over the white desert plains. The afternoon is at your own leisure to spend relaxing at the pool or take part in optional activities offered at the lodge.

Day 6 - Namib Desert   
After an early start, we enter the Sossusvlei. The morning rays of sunrise paint the sand dunes into colors of apricot, red and orange, contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, with an opportunity to capture amazing landscapes on film. Sossusvlei sees us walking up one of these dunes to admire the desert landscape for unfogettable views. We also visit the Sesriem Canyon, natural phenomenon in the heart of the Namib Desert.

Day 7 - Swakopmund   
After breakfast we travel through the desolate, rolling hills of Kuiseb Moon Valley towards the Atlantic Ocean. We visit a shallow lagoon in Walvis Bay, one of the most important wetland heritage sites on in Africa feeding over 80% of the African flamingoes. It present a breathtaking picture when they appear in groups of a few hundred thousand. Arriving in Swakopmund, the rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 8 - Swakopmund
Perfect for walking tours, shopping, relaxing at one of the coffee shops or a stroll along the sandy beach. It offers a wide variety of activities from dolphin cruises, desert tours and scenic flights to quad biking, paragliding, parachuting and kite surfing.

Day 9 - Damaraland   
Today we travel via the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain into the Damaraland, one of the least populated and geologically diverse areas in Africa. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the rare desert elephants, black rhinos and many antelope species. We will also stop to meet the Damara people en route.

Day 10 - Etosha National Park
We vsit Twyfelfontein, a heritage site where Bushman communities painted over 2500 pictures some 6000 years ago! We explore the Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest. We also visit the Welwitschia mirabilis plant – the oldest living desert plant on Earth! After a visit to a traditional Damara village we proceed on to our lodge close to the Etosha National Park, and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11 - Etosha National Park   
We devote the day purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to 4 of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. The waterholes are supporting a rich diversity of birds and mammals, including rare species such as black-faced impala, roan, cheetah, and Namibia’s smallest antelope, the Damara dik-dik.

Day 12 -  Etosha National Park   
Today we again game drive in the Etosha National Park. We may encounter animal species we have not seen the previous day and look forward to any new surprises at the different waterholes visited. In the afternoon we travel to our lodge, where we enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 13 - Return to Windhoek   
After breakfast we continue southwards to Windhoek, where we visit the craft markets in the main street of the capital city, where after we are dropped off at our hotel or at the international airport for our return flight.
