As human populations grow, so indigenous, pristine habitats are vanishing, along with their associated plant and animal species. Consequently there is an urgent need amongst nature enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the bush, affording a fleeting chance to relax and let Nature remove the everyday strains of life. We have attempted to offer Kruger National Park Safari to satisfy the need.
Our Treehouse Safaris from Johannesburg takes you to a Balule Nature Reserve that forms part of the Kruger National park (no fences between them). This offers Tourist the opportunity to experience both the Kruger and surrounding areas in one trip.

After dark, spotlights are used to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner will be an unforgettable BUSH BRAAI in the Marula Tree Boma deep in the African bush. Continue with the night drive after dinner and overnight in an en suite chalet at Tremisana Lodge.
Day 2 - Full Day in Kruger National Park
After breakfast you travel in an open-sided Gameviewer to the Orpen area of Kruger Park. The added elevation and absence of windows allows for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Your qualified guide will show you various animals, large and small, that frequent this outstanding wildlife paradise. The zone of Kruger you visit has the highest percentage population of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and impala that attract numerous lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight in your fascinating treehoiuse at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge.

Best time to visit Kruger Park
Kruger is great year round, though many would say that the winter season is best (May to October), becuase the vegetation is thinner during the period, which means you have a better chance of spotting small and elusive animals like leopards.
What to Wear
Light, cotton clothing in light tones. These work best in a hot climate. Avoid white shirts as they show dirt easily and are more visible to animals.
Ladies - If you are staying at a private lodge, you can pack one smart set of clothing, but informal for the most part. We reccommend packing a support bra for game drives as they sometime get a little rough
It is a good idea to pack a few long sleeved shirts and a pair of long trousers as evenings can get a bit chilly and they keep mosquitos at bay.
Winter can get chilly in the morning, especially on morning game drives. Take a lightweight waterproof jacket. Shorts and t-shirt will be most comfortable around mid day. The secret is to wear several layers that you can take off as it gets hotter.
Take a good pair of hiking shoes or trainers. Heavy duty hiking boots are not needed unless you are going on a walking safari. A pair of sandals might be good for walking around the pool and lodge.
The African Sun can be quite harsh on the skin on a very hot day. You should try and take a wide brim hat to shade your eyes and the back of your neck
What to pack

- SWIMMING GEAR
- CASH FOR LUNCHES, DRINKS AND SOUVENIRS
