Journey into the Cape wine-lands and witness the process from vineyard to bottle along with a visit to the historical towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek & Paarl.
Our Cape Winelands Tour takes us through the beautiful country side, a completely different landscape to the Cape Peninsula. We visit the vibrant town of Stellenbosch, famous for it's university, wine cellar tours and wine tasting tours. Here you will have the opportunity to purchase wines to bring back home.
Franschhoek is an old Huguenot village, the 'french corner' of the cape. This small enchanting town enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, where we stop to taste some local delicacies, cheeses and wines.
Passing the Drakenstein Prison, where Nelson Mandela (tourist tak the opportunity to take photo's of the Nelson Mandela walk to Freedom statue) spent his last part of his imprisonment for campaigning against apartheid, we reach Paarl. The town of Paarl offers a window into the Afrikaner culture and tradition. The town boasts a monument to the Huguenots, who settled here. We visit a few of the towns finest vineyards.
