DAY 1
10h00 - Depart Rovos Rail Station in Pretoria.
Lunch is served on-board as the Drakensberg Mountains come into view.
The train climbs to Majuba Hill in the afternoon (2146m/7040ft). Dinner is served en-route to Elandslaagte for overnight stop.
DAY 2
06h00 - Wake-up call. Tea, coffee, juices and pastries served before embarking on a game drive in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. Return for brunch at 11h00 before heading to Estcourt.
14h00 - Disembark for a 40-minute drive to Spionkop Lodge. A choice of 2 excursions: Escorted tour of the battlefields or game drive in the Spionkop Game Reserve. Return to the train for dinner.
DAY 3
Breakfast is served as the train descends the escarpment toward Lions River Station.
10h00 - Visit the famous Ardmore Ceramics Gallery including an equestrian display and tea.
12h00 - Depart for Durban. The train traverses the spectacular Valley of a Thousand Hills.
16h00 - Arrive at journey’s end in Durban.

All suites are spacious and offer travel in privacy, comfort and luxury, with fittings and facilities that are of the highest standard. All are equipped with a writing surface, personal safe & bar fridge filled with beverages of the passengers’ choice.
The Pullman Suite (±7 sq metres) Equipped with a comfortable sofa seat during the day with a conversion to double/twin beds for the evening. The suite features an en-suite bathroom with shower, hair dryers and shaver plugs.
The Deluxe Suites (±10 sq metres) Accommodates two passengers in twin/double beds with a lounge area & en-suite bathroom with shower, hair dryers and shaver plugs.
The Royal Suites (±16 sq metres) Each Royal Suite takes up half a carriage. These spacious suites each have its own private lounge area and full bathroom with a Victorian bath and separate shower, hair dryers and shaver plugs. Royal Suites can accommodate two people by either side-by-side twin or spacious double beds.
