The Pom Pom Camp Okavango Delta is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta within the Matsebe concession area. Here hippo grunt and frolic in front of camp’s permanent lagoon that is surrounded by miles of reeds. In a clear water oasis, the “mokoro” offers you a wonderful means of viewing wildlife as you glide between palm-fringed islands.
The Pom Pom Camp Okavango Delta consists of nine luxury safari tents in true traditional safari style, furnished with en-suite, semi-open ablutions. The tents are uniquely positioned under the shade of the surrounding trees that overlook the Pom Pom lagoon. Our family safari tent, which is close to the main lodge, accommodates four (two adults and two children), with en-suite facilities.
This authentic tented camp is known for its 'soul' and appeals to safari traditionalists. This eco-friendly camp lies on the eastern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve offering superb scenery and consistent game viewing all year round.
There is the possibility of seeing numerous different species of game, however, Pom Pom is also about the nature experience as much as anything else. In addition to the big game, Pom Pom is a birdwatcher's paradise and within a maze of water passages, you will find the busy Pied King Fisher and countless other birds that flourish in the waterways.

The Pom Pom Private Concession, west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Pom Pom Camp overlooks the lily-strewn Pom Pom Lagoon at the headwaters of the Xudum River system. Leopards particularly enjoy the woodland habitats.
Pom Pom airstrip is roughly a 5-minute drive from camp. Light aircraft flights are approximately 20 minutes from Maun and 1h30 from Kasane.
A camp for traditionalists - rustic and real, with an atmosphere of warmth and ease. Pom Pom conjures the safaris of old, where fireside storytelling and
debriefing the day's exploits are as memorable as the game viewing itself.

- En-suite, flushing toilet, double vanity basins, gowns, outdoor shower, hot and cold water 1 Tented Suite features a romantic outdoor honeymoon bathtub
- All rooms can be configured as a double (king bed) or a twin (two ¾ beds)
- Plug charging points suitable for sleep apnea machines but not hair dryers

Family Friendly
- The Family Tented Suite comprises of a standard en-suite tent (with outdoor shower) connected to a smaller room sharing one bathroom with a separate toilet.
- Minimum age is 6 years. Families traveling with children aged 6-11yrs must book private activities
- Walking activities are only allowed for children aged 12+yrs
- Extra bed available, allowing for three children in the family suite.
- Special bush activity program for children and early mealtimes on request
- Tent 2 has a wheelchair-friendly toilet, and the camp has ramps to public areas.
Food and Drink (all-inclusive)
