The Hotel Vingerklip Lodge is a luxurious lodge in the Damarland region of Northern Namibia. Set in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, the Vingerklip Lodge enjoys spectacular views of some of the most dramatic rock formations in Namibia including the Vingerklip or Finger of Stone, a 35m pillar of rock standing proudly above the valley.
The most popular attraction here is the Eagle's Nest Resturaunt situated high above the lodge on the Ugab Terrace with the most breathtaking views!!

Eagle's Nest Restaurant
Ideally situated high above on the Ugab Terraces, reachable within 10 minutes walking. The restaurant offers a unique atmosphere and the views are simply breathtaking!
PLEASE NOTE - Eagles Nest Restaurant is limited to approximately 20 guests. Bookings are essential.
Walking the path up is not recommended for people with walking difficulties.
Swimming Pools and Jacuzzi
The Vingerklip lodge has 2 Swimming pools where laze in the afternoons.
A Jacuzzi is open to guests at their convenience.
Rooms
Standard Thatched Bungalows - The lodge has 11 double unit bungalows comprising 22 rooms with en suite bathrooms. Rooms are individually furnished and equiped to satify all the needs of the modern traveller.
Each unit is equipped with a private terrace and 8 of the units offer loft accommodation for two children each.
Heaven's Gate
- The Exclusive Island on top of the Mountain -
Perched high on top of the Ugab Terrace is the Heaven's Gate luxury bungalow, close to the Eagles Nest Restaurant. This exclusive bungalow enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and offers guest a private and isolated retreat for untlimate tranquility.
PLEASE NOTE - This exclusive accommodation is only accessible via
a short mountain walkway and a 25m Metal staircase.
Walking the path up is not recommended for people with walking difficulties.

- Vingerklip Hiking Trail (approx 1-2hr to complete)
- South Terrace Hiking Trail with View Point (approx 1 and a half hours to complete)
- Joint Terrace Hiking Trail, a combination of two (approx 2 and a half hours to complete)
- Sundowner Drive to view the landscape and wildlife (available from reception)
(All hiking trails are free of charge and can be done by Mountain Bike, please ask at reception for details.)
