A 'bare-foot luxury' remote bush camp on the banks of the Luwi River with a rich history, originally sited by Norman Carr in 1987.
A small and intimate camp in the South Luangwa National Park consisting of only 4 spacious chalets raised on wooden decks. Chalets enjoy views over the surrounding bush and waterholes.
The Nsolo bush camp is one of South Luangwa's most remote, luxury safari camps located close to Luwi River, renowned for it's lion population wandering the dry river bed. Wild Dogs & Leopard are also abundant in this area.

Lounge & Dining Area
An open sided, shady chitenje lounge on the banks of the Luwi River with bush bar and dining area offers a peaceful refuge where guests can study the camps collection of books or watch a variety of game visiting the permanent pools of water in the Luwi riverbed
Walking Safaris
The Nsolo Bush Camp offers the unique thrill of tracking lions in the traditional ways as introduced by Norman Carr. Famous for it's resident lions and Wild dog den close bay, the Luwi area promises unique safaris on foot year round.
Inter-lodge Walking Safaris (Lodge Combinations)
For a truly memorable safari, you can pack your bags and set off on foot to the Luwi, Kakuli and Machenja camps, where you will find a cool drink and brunch waiting for you and your bags already in your room! This is the best way to explore more than one part of the park.
Game Drives
Game drives in specialized 4x4 vehicles give guests a different perspective of the surroundings and wildlife.
Return to the Wild
The ultimate 'wilderness experience'. Sleep out under the stars on the wildest experience that South Luangwa has to offer. With just a bed roll and a mosquito net (not even a tent!), we camp on a remote, dry river bed as the first safari pioneers did. This excursions is for the most adventurous of spirit, led by one of the camp's top guides and scout teams with over 30 years of experience.
Guests venture out to find the most remote spot for the camp by mid afternoon. Enjoy a game rangers dinner and sleep under the stars whilst the guide and scout keep watch till morning

Rooms
The Nsolo Bush camp in Zambia has only four very spacious chalets built on raised wooden decks with grass and reed walls and open large air en-suite bathrooms.
Each chalet is nestled under the shade of trees with private verandahs overlooking the surrounding bush and waterholes in the Luwi River. The chalets are individually designed, extremely comfortable yet still rustic and simple.
