Best time to visit Mauritius
It might be difficult to decide when’s the best time to go to Mauritius, however the island enjoys a warm tropical climate with pleasant weather year-round.
November to April is Summer, with long, hot and humid days. This is however also the cyclone season, with the wettest months being January to March. You can expect some heavy rain during your holiday if you travel during these months.
May to October is Winter, however it never really gets cold.
The best time to travel to Mauritius is considered to be May to December, when there is less rain.
If you are staying on the East Coast of Mauritius, you should avoid the months of July and August as the wind gets strong during this time of the year.
