Thank you so much for an amazing trip. 🥰🥳🥳We thoroughly enjoyed it! As this was a second trip we organized through your detail oriented company, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks again for all your trouble and care.

Firstly – Qatar Airways! 🤯 what an amazing airline! Even better than Emirates for us. That airport. Like a building of the future! UAE has big competition. Would recommend Qatar to anyone! They even gave us socks and eye masks that other airlines in Economy sparsely give out these days. More than enough space in Economy. (Were not talking about Business class, obviously my mom LOVED it! What a treat) 

Marrakech has found a place in my heart. The red pink buildings everywhere and the old city (Medina) blows your mind literally! You are transported into a movie of Aladdin and Prince of Persia, Game of Thrones and Wheel of Time all in one go. All the spy movies filmed in the El Jema Fnaa Market was super cool to experience. And the snake charmers. Yea. Their real! Thought it was a made up thing. It isn’t. The hustle and bustle pulls you into a different dimension you cannot imagine existed.

Hakim, our driver. What a gentleman! Wow!
Always on time with a smile on his face. “No problem!” “Your welcome.” His famous words! His driving skills are great. His knowledge of the country is impeccable. I would highly recommend him. 

The hotels, rias and kasbahs we stayed in was luxurious and clean. The tours Hakim organized for us was fun, informative and the guides gave vast knowledge of each site. This trip was unforgettable and we as a family enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you again to all the parties involved. We would highly recommend Getaway Africa. 

The highlight was definitely the desert camp for us, Marrakesh and Aid Benhedenou. The Sahara is stunning! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Ber-ber music is sooo cool! The 4×4 drive to the camp was something super special. Did you know you the Sahara was an ocean before, thus there’s fossils in rock found there.  

The food tour in Marrakesh! What an experience! We rolled out the market! The cooking class! What a family! Sho! Would recommend the cultural experience to anyone. Best way to experience culture of a local family business thats sooo professional. Tagine is our new favorite dish.

For me, if I had to summarize the trip for me in an emoji it would be 🤯. Mindblown. Again. 

This country is clean and everything works. They don’t even have litter next to the road like ours. They give all souvenirs in paper bags, like Woolies. We were in awe! 🥰

Definitely a must visit for anyone. Thank you everyone involved. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
