Maldives enjoys a tropical climate with warm temperatures throughout the year and many hours of sunshine. The average temperature is 31 degrees and minimum 26 degrees with small variations in the temperatures throughout the year. April is the hottest month and December the coolest.

So when exactly is the best time to go to Maldives really? December to March is the high season. May to October is Monsoon season. The best time to go is considered to be November to April to avoid rainy days spoiling your beach time.
