Once you have done that and you are not sure which region in Africa to visit, you can get background information on each country (although we only offer accommodation and tours in Southern & Eastern regions of the continent). Or even easier visit the quick country overview to see which countries, Botswana, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania, Mauritius, Egypt, Namibia or Global will fit your budget and style. This information should assist you to decide which country/countries you would like to visit.

Once you have decided on your location, then you can click on either tours & safaris, hotels & lodges or overlanding to get more information on these products.Its always safe to click on any photo because it takes you to the info page of the heading your at.

Private package tours & safaris:

Tours, safaris and overlanding. A packaged or private tour is when you travel by yourself with a group of friends or family according to a set itinerary as per the web page.

These tours are generally more expensive than group tours because you are carrying all the cost of the vehicle or guide you use. However, when you just visit hotels without making too much use of ground transport and touring guides, you can find really good deals on our site (cheaper when you book each hotel separately) because we negotiate wholesale prices with the hotels & lodges

Self-drive tours:

Self-drive tours are also known as tailor-made tours because you are in charge of your whole holiday from start to finish. With our advice to guide you, you decide where to go and how long to stay. We will assist you to build a day by day itinerary to suit your needs, interest and budget. You can either hire a car or we can assist you to have your own private professional tour guide who will drive you along your itinerary with the added bonus that someone else who knows the country can drive and give you all the interesting commentary of the surroundings. Designing of self-drive tailor-made tours is our speciality as tour operators have more than a decade of experience in Southern and East Africa.

Scheduled tours and Turistica:

These scheduled tours depart on specific dates from pre-determined point or cities. You will join other travellers on various types of transport – from normal cars to big coaches depending on the type of tour – and visit various points of interest together with the guidance of a tour guide.

Overlanding travel tours & safaris:

These overlanding tours are very good value for money. You normally travel in specially designed adventure trucks with comfortable Overland Tour in Southern and Eastern Africa

seats, all your camping and cooking gear in special compartments underneath the truck or behind in trailers. Most overland tours and safaris are camping tours, however there are some accommodated ones too, but still aimed at the lower backpackers budgets. The people are mostly young at heart and love the unknown destination, adventures and a group environment.

So rather make use of our ‘budget’ classification to find hotels.

When you have clicked on a specific country to search for an ideal hotel, safari travel tours or overland tours, use the drop down boxes to narrow down your search. Tourists can use the country, grading and type box.

How do I enquire and book?

If you are on a page containing a product that interests you, please click on the ‘Booking Enquiry’ or ‘Book Now’ button and you can request more information or make a reservation. We will endeavour to answer your original email before the end of the working day. If you contact us during working hours, our return time on the first email is normally within one hour. If you are emailing us from the Americas or Australasian regions, please take note of some major time differences that can result on a delay on receiving an answer.
