Luxury Coach Tour

Day 1 Johannesburg
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa, you will be greeted and collected by a representative and transferred to your hotel, from which the luxury coach tour will depart by shuttle. You will have the rest of the day to yourself until 19h00 when we all meet at the hotel reception for a briefing on the South Africa Tour.

Day 2 Johannesburg to Hazyview
Today we leave for Mpumalanga on our South Africa Tour, traveling through the lush subtropical region of the Lowveld along the circular Panorama Route via Graskop, visiting the view sites of the Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window and finally a visit to Bourke’s Luck Potholes before heading to Hazyview on your luxury coach tour.

Day 3 Kruger National Park
With an early start to the day we head off exploring the wonders of the Kruger National Park, South Africa in a closed vehicle. Keep a lookout for the wonderful flora and bird life that abounds. The Kruger National Park is an internationally renowned game reserve of nearly 2 million hectares and supports the largest variety of wildlife species on the African continent. The whole day spent in search of game before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 Hazyview to Swaziland
After breakfast we depart on to Swaziland, leaving the borders of South Africa on our luxury coach tour. We pass through Malalane and visit the Swaziland National Museum before arriving at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 Swaziland to St Lucia
Today we journey into Zululand, after passing the border to South Africa again. stopping en route at the roadside traditional markets for some saviours. We continue into the KwaZulu-Natal region where ancient traditions and modern cultures of both Zulu and Settler have combined into a vibrant society.

Sightseeing tours from Pretoria to Durban

Day 6 St Lucia to Durban
Today you will have the option to lie in or take an optional morning boat cruise (own account) before heading off on towards Durban, South Africa's prime beach destination and one of the highlights of our luxury coach tour. We visit the Botanic Gardens and continue with a city orientation tour before arriving at our hotel late afternoon.

Day 7 Durban to Drakensberg
We savour the ocean breeze as we enjoy a gentle but fun cycle along the beachfront promenade. Durban's golden mile buzzes with energy as surfers, joggers and cyclists take to this seaside playground. We then head into the Southern Drakensberg Mountains and a visit the 300 feet Howick Falls, continuing through the Southern Midlands Meander Route, arriving at our hotel mid afternoon. The rest of your afternoon is at leisure to soak up the surroundings, or go fishing, hiking and even horse riding in clean mountain air. Accommodation: Drakensberg Gardens Hotel or similar

Day 8 Drakensberg
You will have a full day at leisure to soak up the surroundings of the magnificent Southern Drakensberg Mountains or partake in the activities on offer.

Day 9 Drakensberg to East London
We continue south to East London entering the Eastern Cape, the birth place of Nelson Mandela. Along the way you will see the old traditional way of life in the homeland area known as the Transkei. We stop for lunch outside the capital of Umtata before continuing via Nelson Mandela’s birth place and house to arrive late afternoon in East London. Accommodation: The Kennaway Hotel or similar

Day 10 Port Elizabeth
After breakfast, we travel through East London for a short orientation tour, continue through ‘Settler Country’ via Port Alfred towards Grahamstown. We visit the 1820 Settler Memorial before reach Port Elizabeth. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Accommodation: The Garden Court Kings Beach or similar

Day 11 Port Elizabeth to Knysna
Today our journey continues towards the Cape, visiting the Tsitsikamma Forest, which provides scenic walking
opportunities. A short walk to the Storms River Mouth offers some magnificent views of the gorge and river below. Arrive in Mossel Bay late afternoon where we will spend the next 2 nights.

Day 12 Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, we travel over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, known as the ‘feather capital of the world’ because of its ostrich industry. Visit the famous Cango Caves and an Ostrich Farm where you have the opportunity of riding one of these giant birds. Return to Knysna for overnight.

Day 13 Knysna to Cape Town
Today our journey takes us to Cape Town. On the way we stop off in Mossel Bay to visit the famous Post Office Tree, the Bartholomeus Diaz Museum and Shell Museum, driving via Swellendam, Worcester and through the Huguenot Tunnel before arriving in Cape Town in the late afternoon.

Day 14 Cape Town
Enjoy a day of leisure in the ‘Mother City’. A visit to the V&A Waterfront is recommended.

Day 15 Cape Town
This morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel by 11h00. The remainder of the day will be at leisure until our representative collects you for your transfer to Cape Town International Airport where your journey ends.
