Jock Safari Lodge is nestled at the joining of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers in the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park, situated on 6,000 hectares of private concession, which allows exclusive traversing rights on the untamed wilderness. This allows guests to get an extraordinary experience of this Big Five wilderness area.
The Jock Safari Lodge is carefully screened by lush trees and reed walls that gives a feeling of immersion in the African Bushveld. The lodge consists of the Main Jock lodge with 12 individual thatched rooms that impart a sense of aloneness and oneness with the landscape as well as the Fitzpatrick's at Jock, an exclusive-use private villa that can accommodate up to 6 adults.
The highlight activities are the morning and evening game drives, performed in 4x4 land cruisers conducted by highly experienced rangers in the legendary Kruger National Park. Afternoon safaris also offer the best opportunities for spotting nocturnal animals such as leopard, hyena and lion.
Other popular activities offered at the lodge includes game walks, bird watching, stargazing, visits to rock art sites and spa treatments at the Prilgrims Rest Relaxation Retreat.
