Your Masai Mara & Amboseli Safari starts from the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi, as your tour takes you along the border to the Masai Mara where you have the opportunity to take a snapshot of some of Africa's most prolific wildlife including elephants, lions, rhinoceros, crocodile, leopards, wildebeest and many more species. This region is also a popular crossing point for the wildebeest migration as they migrate across the Tanzania-Kenya border annually in search of greener pastures.
This safari itinerary also takes you to Amboseli National Park, a popular and scenic region known for its unique backdrop against Mount Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped Uhuru peak.
You will also visit Lake Nakuru National Park, home to large flocks of flamingos and pelicans, which was originally a bird sanctuary. Today the park boasts more than just thriving birdlife, but also black & white rhino, leopard, and numerous bucks.

Partaking in an adventure tour in Africa involves covering hundreds if not thousands of kilometres and our tours are as much about this journey as they are about the destinations we visit. Use your time during these drives to talk to your fellow travellers, have a drink and take note of the world passing by your window. Some roads you travel on will be smooth and easy while others could take up to an hour to cover 1 kilometre. There is just no telling what could happen with the road, weather, traffic and other conditions that may exist that will either increase or decrease the amount of time you spend on the road so take your watch off, put your iPad away, turn off your phone and just relax. An average day could take anything from 5 to 14 hours, it all depends on the day… and that’s only an “average”!
