Vicky & Mick Angliss – Zanzibar

Had a lovely holiday at Royal Zanzibar!  Great resort for disabled people, easy walkways, no steps. Pools were accessible, shallow steps and gradual slope in one pool.  Staff were friendly and eager to help.  Room was spacious, plenty of room for wheelchair manoeuvre, wet room shower but toilet was inaccessible to full wheelchair user.  Resort could benefit from 2 or 3 rooms with fully equipped bathrooms, ie handrails, higher toilet etc.

We went in low season, it was fully inclusive but only 1 restaurant open at a time for each meal, although the meals were served in the different venues and sometimes in the gardens.

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere and would recommend this resort.  Attached 2 photos, have many more if you would like others.
